Mohamed Sidi
Paralegal and Interpreter

Mohamed supports Hemrick O’Malley attorneys and assists with preparing cases and documentation for immigration matters. He assists with preparing asylum applications with USCIS and cases with the Immigration Courts. Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, he is an accomplished interpreter who translates legal documents from Arabic and French to English and vice versa. He also provides real-time interpretation during attorney-client meetings, phone consultations, and court hearing preparations.

Prior to joining Hemrick O’Malley, Mohamed specialized in providing interpretation services for clients at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) asylum interviews. His role as an interpreter in these high-stakes situations involves accurately conveying the words and intent of individuals seeking asylum, ensuring their stories are heard and understood by officials. Mohamed’s work has profoundly impacted the lives of many, contributing to fair and just asylum processes.

Mohamed’s education equipped him with a solid foundation in organizational and management principles, but his passion for languages and helping others led him to pursue a career in interpretation and translation.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mohamed is deeply committed to continuous learning and personal growth. He believes in the power of communication to connect people and cultures, and this philosophy drives his dedication to his craft.
